Official Snowfall Totals For The Twin Cities Sunday

Here's how much snow fell in Minnesota during the October storm.

MINNEAPOLIS-SAINT PAUL METRO — The Oct. 14, 2018 snowstorm is in the books. Many locations in southern and central Minnesota, including the Twin Cities, saw about an inch of snow Sunday, though most of it melted by the early afternoon.

According to the National Weather Service, .3 inches were measured at the Minneapolis-Saint Paul Airport. The NWS measured .4 inches at their office in Chanhassen.

Weather officials say the snowfall totals are taken every six hours, so much of the snow melted before the official observations at 1 p.m. Sunday.

Up in the Northland, Cook in St. Louis County reportedly saw 5 inches of snow. Find more snowfall reports here.
