Twin Cities Snowstorm Update: Timing, Amounts
Here's the latest information on the snowstorm set to arrive in the Twin Cities metro area Monday night.

TWIN CITIES, MN — A snowstorm is still on track to hit the Twin Cities metro area and much of central Minnesota. Light snow will start in the metro Monday evening and night, with about an inch of accumulation.

Tuesday will bring heavier snow, between 3 to 7 inches of additional snow to the Twin Cities, according to the National Weather Service.

Monday: Snow likely, mainly after 5pm. Cloudy, with a high near 22. Blustery, with an east northeast wind 15 to 20 mph, with gusts as high as 30 mph. Chance of precipitation is 70%. Total daytime snow accumulation of less than a half inch possible.
Monday Night: Snow. Low around 10. Blustery, with a north northeast wind around 20 mph, with gusts as high as 35 mph. Chance of precipitation is 80%. New snow accumulation of less than one inch possible.

Tuesday: Snow. The snow could be heavy at times. Patchy blowing snow between 1pm and 4pm. High near 13. Blustery, with a north wind 15 to 20 mph, with gusts as high as 30 mph. Chance of precipitation is 100%. New snow accumulation of 3 to 7 inches possible.
Tuesday Night: A 30 percent chance of snow before midnight. Mostly cloudy, with a low around -1. Wind chill values as low as -15. North northwest wind 10 to 15 mph.
Wednesday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 9. Northwest wind around 10 mph.
