UW-Madison Student From Twin Cities Is Expelled
A University of Wisconsin-Madison student from the Twin Cities has been expelled following stalking and sexual assault charges.
The expulsion of a University of Wisconsin-Madison student from the school has been upheld by a university committee.
Alec Cook, 20 of Edina, Minnesota, currently faces criminal charges that include strangulation, sexual assault, stalking and false imprisonment of 10 women.
The alleged incidents date back to March 2015. In February, Cook pleaded not guilty to the charges, Channel 3000 reported.

Cook, a business major at the time, was banned from the school's campus in October during his "emergency suspension" from the university after charges were filed against him, according to the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel.
