Vikings Trainer: Teddy Bridgewater's Knee Surgery Successful
Vikings quarterback Teddy Bridgewater's left knee was surgically repaired Thursday in Dallas.
Vikings quarterback Teddy Bridgewater's knee surgery Thursday was successful.
According to Vikings Head Athletic Trainer Eric Sugarman, Bridgewater's left knee was surgically repaired Thursday by Dr. Dan Cooper at the Carrell Clinic in Dallas, Texas.
The knee dislocation Bridgewater suffered during practice last month required him needing a multi-ligament reconstruction.

Sugarman was present in Dallas to support Bridgewater and observe the entire procedure.
"The repair was excellent and gives Teddy every reason to be very optimistic," Sugarman said in a statement.

"Teddy already began the rehab process yesterday, will return to Minnesota to continue on the road to recovery very soon and looks forward to getting back on the field."
