Warmer-Than-Normal Spring 2022 Predicted In Minnesota: NOAA
The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Association also notes there is a "minor-to-moderate" for the Midwest, including Minnesota.
MINNEAPOLIS — Minnesotans can expect a warner-than-normal spring this year, according to the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Association's 2022 outlook for the season.
The rest of the nation should expect warm weather as well.
NOAA’s Climate Prediction Center is forecasting "above-average temperatures for most of the U.S. from the Desert Southwest to the East Coast and north through the Midwest to the Canadian border from April to June."

NOAA also notes there is a "minor-to-moderate" for the Midwest, including Minnesota. More serious flooding is expected in Minnesota's western neighbors:
"Due to late fall and winter precipitation, which saturated soils and increased streamflows, major flood risk potential is expected for the Red River of the North in North Dakota and moderate flood potential for the James River in South Dakota," said Ed Clark, director, NOAA’s National Water Center.
