Watch: Minneapolis Students Walk Out in Anti-Trump Protest

Minneapolis students walked out of school Friday as part of an anti-Trump protest.

MINNEAPOLIS, MN — Following two nights of protests against Donald Trump's presidential election in the Twin Cities and throughout the country, Minneapolis high school have walked out of school as part of an anti-Trump protest. As of 3:00 p.m. students were seen marching down Cedar Avenue in the direction of downtown.

WCCO reported that students from Roosevelt, South High, and Washburn High School are taking part in the walk out.

On Thursday, demonstrators gathered for an anti-Trump rally at the Humphrey School of Public Affairs at the University of Minnesota before marching through Minneapolis and eventually shutting down Interstate 94.

A similar anti-Trump demonstration took place Wednesday evening in Saint Paul.
