• Charges: Hit-and-run driver swerved ‘aggressively' to toss veteran from car, killing him (bringmethenews.com) — A Spring Lake Park father of two has died after being struck by a vehicle in a Minneapolis hit-and-run, and a 19-year-old driver now faces murder and vehicular homicide charges. Prosecutors say the driver accelerated and swerved to throw him from the hood after he confronted suspected thieves outside a coffee shop. Two others are charged with aiding an offender.
