Former Bikery Space Available

The ever evolving use of our neighborhood commercial space continues. The space that has housed the "bikery" for the past several years has become available after the owners decided to close up the store. A combination bakery / coffee shop and bike repair shop has been closed and all the personal property auctioned off. The auction was completed last week.

The building has a long and colorful past that i find really interesting. In doing research I found that the building dates back to the 1870's and was originally Hooley's Meat's. A historic map and plat of the corner shows the original structure where it sits still today. Several additions have been made over the years, and the livery that was on the back of the lot has been removed.

As far as i can tell, there has been only 4 different owners of the property in the 140+ years, very unusual. The current owner is Paul Emerson,  he is looking to sell the building. Several buyers have looked, but no final offers yet.

Other users of the historic building are Hooley's, a candy company, Eno's bakery, and Bikery.

Look for what the next business owners puts into this very cool space, maybe "Len's" South? or a hair salon or ???
