TWIN CITIES, MN — Construction season in Minnesota is in full swing. Here's what east metro residents can expect for road construction changes this week:
McKnight Rd to Old Hudson Road service road connection closure scheduled for June 1
The service road connection from McKnight Road to Old Hudson Road will be closed to traffic on Thursday, June 1, from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. for resurfacing. This road is located at the westbound I-94/McKnight Road interchange. The detour is McKnight Road to Conway Avenue, according to the Minnesota Department of Transportation.
Traffic will be allowed to do a U-turn at Conway Avenue to go south on McKnight Road to Old Hudson Road. A police officer will be posted at the McKnight Rd/Conway Avenue intersection to help direct traffic.

Traffic changes anticipated on June 2
Crews anticipate re-opening the following entrance ramps by 7 p.m. on Friday, June 2:
- McKnight Road to westbound I-94
- White Bear Avenue to westbound I-94
Then, on Friday, June 2, at 10 p.m. crews anticipate closing the entrance ramp from Ruth St. to westbound I-94. This ramp will be closed through mid-June. See the Ruth St. to westbound I-94 detour.

Highway 120/Century Ave. lane restrictions update
- Southbound Highway 120/Century Ave. from Innovation Road to I-94 will be reduced to a single lane through early-June.
Closure durations and time frames are all approximate and weather dependent.
