ACLU-MN and other officials debate how widely this data should be shared, especially across state lines, and how well privacy safeguards actually work. The story contrasts Stillwater's approach with departments that tightly restrict access. 
• Last-minute surprise makes SJU graduate a Fulbright grant recipient (csbsju.edu) — A recent Saint John's University grad from Stillwater has earned a Fulbright grant and will spend the coming year teaching English in Spain. He's one of several CSB/SJU alumni and students heading abroad through the prestigious program, which places young Americans in classrooms worldwide. The experience may shape his future path in science and education.
