Senate District 39 Republican Caucus

Precinct caucuses are right around the corner. I wanted to touch base and let you know where they will be held. After considerable discussion, it was decided at the last full committee meeting that SD39 would caucus by congressional districts as opposed to house districts. That means that all Republicans in the part of senate district 39 that is in congressional district 4 will caucus at Stillwater Area High School. Republicans in the part of senate district 39 that is in congressional district 6 will caucus at Forest Lake High School. SD39 Chisago County precincts will caucus with Chisago County but will attend the endorsing convention for SD39.

House district 39B is completely within congressional district 4, so if you live in house district 39B you will caucus at Stillwater High School. The following precincts are in house district 39B:
Bayport (10)
Baytown Township (11)
Grant (29)
Lake Elmo P-1 (18)
Lake Elmo P-2 (27)
Lake St. Croix Beach (5)
Lakeland (10)
Lakeland Shores (2)
Oak Park Heights P-1 (7)
Oak Park Heights P-2 (13)
Pine Springs (2)
St. Mary's Point (2)
Stillwater Township P-02 (1)
Stillwater W-1 P-1 (8)
Stillwater W-1 P-2 (9)
Stillwater W-2 P-3 (8)
Stillwater W-2 P-4 (13)
West Lakeland Township (27)

House district 39A is a little more tricky because the district spreads across three congressional districts.

The following precincts are in house district 39A and also in congressional district 6,  they will caucus at Forest Lake High School:
Forest Lake P-1 (15)
Forest Lake P-2 (16)
Forest Lake P-3 (22)
Forest Lake P-4 (16)
Forest Lake P-5 (27)
Marine on St. Croix (3)
May Township (17)
Scandia (23)

The following precincts are in house district 39A and also in congressional district 4, they will caucus at Stillwater Area High School:
Stillwater Township P-01 (15)
Stillwater W-3 P-5 (21)
Stillwater W-4 P-7 (14)
Stillwater W-4 P-8 (10)

*The number in parenthesis denotes the number of delegates allocated to that precinct

**This is our first caucus since redistricting. Your precinct may have changed and it is likely that your caucus location has changed. If you are uncertain of your precinct, you can look it up on line, or feel free to email me.**
