I have a confession. I haven't been in school in many years. However, I will forever base my schedule and calendars on the traditional September through May formula. I look forward to what each season brings, and that means football in the fall, and now will always include Stillwater Harvestfest.
There's just something neat about a free event where there are corn stalks, hay bails, giant pumpkins, people paddling pumpkins down the river (not gracefully, but that's part of the fun).
Last year it was cold and kind of rainy, but you know what? We still had fun. This year the weather will be wonderful, I just have that feeling*.
