Born on January 30, 1923 and passed away on his 91st birthday, January 30, 2014 at Oak Park Senior Living. Preceded in death by his wife of 53 years Lucille (Sager) Rowland; brother Pat Rowland; sisters Margaret Ann Bischel & Mary Rose Kuehn; parents Edmund and Elizabeth Rowland. Survived by sister Veronica (Bob) Madden of Lynchburg, VA and many nieces and nephews. Tom retired from Andersen Corp in December of 1982 after 36 years of service. He served with the US Army as a Crew Chief with the 379th Bombardment Group. Tom was a lifelong member at the Church of St. Charles in Bayport, a member of the Bayport American Legion and Stillwater Knights of Columbus #1632 and the Stillwater Country Club. Mass of Christian Burial will be 11AM on Wednesday (2/5) at St. Charles Church, 409 N. 3rd St., Bayport, MN. Visitation will be 1 hour prior to Mass at church. Burial will be in spring at Hazelwood Cemetery in Bayport. Memorials preferred to Lakeview Hospice.
