Youth Service Bureau is excited to announce that it has been certified in accountability and awarded the Charities Review Council “Meets All Standards” Seal. This Seal indicates that YSB meets all twenty-seven of the Council’s Accountability Standards.
To earn the Seal, YSB voluntarily participated in the Council’s online Accountability Wizard, which assesses a nonprofit’s performance in four critical areas: Public Disclosure, Governance, Financial Activity and Fundraising.
Through this review process, YSB demonstrated that it is responsible, transparent and has integrity!
As a result YSB is now listed as a reviewed organization on the online Giving Guide of the Council’s Smart Givers Network, www.smartgivers.org and the Council’s Smart Giver newsletter distributed to households, businesses and nonprofits.
Donors, volunteers and funders can use the Smart Givers Network as a resource to help them make informed giving decisions. Through this network, givers can review an organization’s mission statement and programs to help them understand what their money supports and ensure that the organization meets widely accepted standards.
