AARP Foundation Tax-Aide is the nation’s largest free volunteer-run tax assistance service. It is offered to low- and moderate- income taxpayers, with special attention to those age 60 and older. Program volunteers assist with filing the 1040 form and the more standard schedules A, B, C (with significant limits), and D.
Volunteers at the Hopkins Activity Center, 33 14th Ave N in Hopkins are available on Mondays and Tuesdays from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. until April 17 to provide free tax preparation and e-filing services. We do not take appointments. Taxpayers are served on a first-come, first-served basis.
