Minneapolis — KRE Prime, an Edina-based adaptive brand, is putting a practical twist on one of fashion’s most versatile and often impractical, staples. KRE Prime is an adaptive brand focused on style, accessibility and innovative design. The jumpsuit includes one base pant and two interchangeable tops, allowing wearers to create multiple looks from a single set. Each piece can be worn separately or connected with a discreet zipper to form a full jumpsuit. Grady said the inspiration came from personal experience. Although she appreciated the clean, minimal look of jumpsuits, she found them difficult to wear in everyday situations. “I wanted something that felt effortless but also worked with the way people actually live,” she said. “It needed to be beautiful, but also practical.” That balance extends to accessibility. The design allows the bottom portion to be removed without taking off the top, offering a more flexible and comfortable option for people with a range of mobility needs. Made from structured stretch fabric using recycled materials, the jumpsuit is designed to hold its shape while remaining comfortable enough for all-day wear. It is intended to transition easily from work to evening. Although KRE Prime operates as a digital-first brand, its roots are local. Grady, who launched the company in part to honor her late sister, said she wanted to create clothing that feels inclusive, thoughtful, and easy to wear. Ken Daniels, born December 16, 1936, brother, husband, dad, grandpa, friend, left this earth on November  27, 2011. He leaves behind his wife, Judy Muyres; children, Jim, Mike, and Katy Daniels (Michelle Aldrich), Michael and David Seckinger (Kate Seckinger); sister, Joyce Gross; grandchildren, Justin, Megan, John, Jessica, Stephany, Evie, Jack, Ted, and many nieces and nephews. His Mother, Rose; Dad, Ken; Brother, Gary ; first Wife, Terry; and Granddaughter, Lindsay preceded him in death. Ken graduated from North Dakota State University in 1963 with a Masters of Science in Mathematics, and spent most of his professional career with corporate SuperValu. Ken's love of education was demonstrated by his serving two terms on the St. Louis Park School Board and 30 years on the District 287 School Board.He believed in equality for all people, as evidenced by his commitment to politics, especially through the Democratic Party. Ken began his love of ham radio when he was a young boy and continued this interest throughout his life. A remembrance of Ken's life will be held on Sunday, December 4, 2011, 3:30 p.m. at the St. Louis Park Rec Center, 3700 Monterey Drive, St. Louis Park, MN 55416, with visitation half an hour before. In lieu of flowers, donations will be appreciated to Methodist Hospital Hospice Program or District 287 Scholarship Fund. Ken was a super guy and we loved him dearly. He will be missed.
