In the upcoming election there are a few contests on the ballot that most of us will pay very little attention to. I am talking about the races for judge. We constantly hear different stories about judges creating laws from the bench or legislating from the bench. Many of these judges are political appointees and we as the voting public do not have say, however when it comes to our Hennepin County Judges, they are elected public servants. I recently have come to know one of the Hennepin County Judge candidates, and would like to endorse Marc Berris for Hennepin County Judge. Marc has practiced law for 18 years, and has been named a "Superlawyer" in Minnesota, a distinction awarded only to the top 5% of lawyers in MN. Marc has a long list of public service including: Golden Valley on-call firefighter, Hennepin County Conciliation Court Referee, part-time Meeker County deputy sheriff, School Board Member for Lionsgate Academy Charter School, and a volunteer for many youth actives.
Marc will bring a well rounded prospective to the court, so please join me in taking a look further down the ballot on Election Day, and cast your vote for Marc Berris for Hennepin County Judge.
Sincerely
