The Benilde-St. Margaret's boys swimming and diving team advanced swimmers in three events at Friday's Class A state preliminary round at the University of Minnesota Aquatic Center. Junior Jack McGinn led the way by finishing fourth in the 500-yard freestyle relay. He finished the race in 4:46.37. McGinn also finished eighth in the 200-yard freestyle relay with a 1:49.44 time. Junior Parker Johnson finished the 100-yard backstroke in 56.49, which put him eighth on the day. Johnson and McGinn will compete in the championship heat at Saturday's Class A state finals, which begin at 1 p.m. at the Aquatic Center.   BSM PRELIMINARY RESULTS <ul> <li>200 freestyle: 8.
