Benilde-St. Margaret's Stays Perfect in Boys Lacrosse

The Red Knights knocked off Eden Prairie on Monday.

The defending Minnesota boys lacrosse state champion is again looking like the best team around.

The Benilde-St. Margaret's Red Knights, who captured their second ever state crown last spring, knocked off a good Eden Prairie team on the road Monday evening, 10-6. Will Hoesley, Simon Gondeck and Taylor Topousis paced the Red Knights with two goals apiece.

The game was close in periods one, three and four, but BSM used a 6-1 second period to build a lead it wouldn't relinquish. The Red Knights are now 5-0 on the season, with another game coming up quickly—BSM heads to Irondale for a Tuesday evening conference match-up.
