BSM Girls Reach State Finals
The Red Knights beat Totino-Grace 3-0, advance to face Blake on Thursday

The girls soccer team earned a spot in the Class A state championship on Monday as the Red Knights defeated Totino-Grace 3-0 at the Metrodome in Minneapolis.
BSM will face The Blake School in the title game, which takes place Thursday at 12:30 p.m.
The Red Knights opened up the game with a goal from Dana Buckhorn at the 10:11 mark of the first half.

After halftime, Peggy Renier made it 2-0 at the 43:45 mark, and with 11 minutes remaining Kelly Pannek scored on a penalty kick to make the score 3-0.
BSM (18-0-3) will face a Blake squad they have not faced yet this season. The Bears enter the game with a 20-1 record, their lone loss coming against Lakeville North on Sept. 10. They have won 14 games in a row since that loss. They have compiled 15 shutouts this year and have outscored their opponents 12-1 in their five postseason games this year.
