Gridiron Gameday: BSM One Game Away From State
The Red Knights look energized after their big win against Orono last week. Can they upset the 8-1 Spring Lake Park Panthers Friday night?

(5-4, North Suburban Conference) vs. Spring Lake Park (8-1, North Suburban Conference) in the Section 6AAAA championship game.
PLAYMAKERS
- Benilde-St. Margaret’s — Dom Burg: In his last playoff game against Orono, Burg rushed for 94 yards on only 7 carries. He might just be the spark the Red Knights need to pull the upset.
- Spring Lake Park — Brandon Jones: The senior QB has been spectacular this season, rushing for 501 yards and throwing for 327 yards. Jones resembles NFL star Cam Newton with his ability to stay in the pocket and deliver a pin point pass, as well as scramble when he is under pressure.

They can score early and get their home crowd into the game. The Panthers are already a physical team, and when you add in the crowd noise, this is going to be a difficult environment for the opposing Red Knights.
