Fading Sun and Dropping Temps — But Not For Long

Furry hoods and face masks have become common sight at most transit stops throughout the metro, but relief is in the forecast.

This winter's nasty cold temperatures have made bus commuters bundle — and toughen — up more than usual when going to the grocery store or out on other simple errands. But some good news is on the way — after one more chilly day, weather forecasts call for a warm-up on Friday that should last through next week and beyond. Temperatures could hit the 40s during this stretch.
