Friends of the Arts Seeks Volunteers
The St. Louis Park nonprofit is looking to fill vacancies on its board of directors.

St. Louis Park Friends of the Arts (FotA) is looking for people of all ages and credentials, who have a passion for the arts, to fill several vacancies on its board of directors. Board members serve three-year terms, which consist of meetings and volunteer work totaling four hours per month.
“This is a unique group,” said Susan Schneck, president of FotA. “We give local people access to the arts, provide scholarships and grants and oversee 'Our Town,' a year-long, community arts program. Board members will help make decisions on how funding is used.”
This year, Our Town's focus will be "Beats and Streets," spotlighting drums, including drumming circles and percussion performances.
