(UPDATED) Game of the Week: SLP Seeks First Volleyball Win

The Orioles look for their first win of the season as the Orono Spartans come to town.

(Update) Sept. 27, 10:15 a.m. - The Orioles were in fact able to get that elusive first win, as they beat Orono in straight sets last night, 25-18, 25-19, 25-15.

Sept. 26 - Volleyball: Orono (6-5, Wright County Conference) vs. St. Louis Park (0-9, North Suburban Conference)

  • Sarah Silbert (St. Louis Park) – Leading the team in assists and kills, Silbert will need to continue to dominate the net with her powerful play if the Orioles want to have any chance in this game.

SPARTANS WIN IF...

They can control the front of the net. The Spartans are much taller than the Orioles, so look for them to use their height as an advantage Monday night.

ORIOLES WIN IF...

They can win in the later sets. The Spartans are 8-4 in the final two sets of the game this season.
