I Used To Text And Drive: Twin Cities Traffic Reporter

A Twin Cities traffic reporter learned her lesson as a teenager when she crashed her vehicle after texting and driving.

TWIN CITIES, MN — KARE 11 traffic reporter Alicia Lewis knows the dangers and temptations of driving distracted. She’s done it. Fortunately for Lewis, she survived a distracted driving crash in high school, but she knows it could’ve ended much differently.

Those "what ifs" are motivating her to get others to pay attention behind the wheel. State law enforcement wants you to listen to her message to pay attention and not gamble with your life or the lives of others on the road.
