Orioles Pounced by Panthers

The St. Louis Park boys hockey team played Spring Lake Park tough during the opening period. However the Panthers' offense took over in the second.

The Orioles boys hockey team continued a tough season with an 8–2 loss to Spring Lake Park on Tuesday night in St. Louis Park.

The Orioles played the Panthers tight during the first period, holding Spring Lake Park scoreless until 1:41 remained in the opening period.

The second stanza was an entirely different story. The Panthers exploded for five goals in the period and never looked back.

Running time started with the opening of the third period, where the Orioles were able to score their first two goals of the game. Despite scoring two in the third, St. Louis Park wasn't able to close the scoring gap, with the Panthers scoring two final goals to seal the game. The Orioles are now 1-12 overall, 1-4 in the North Suburban Conference.
