For the first time ever, the North Suburban Conference girls swimming relay meet was held outdoors, as the Aquatic Park at St. Louis Park's hosted the season-opening exhibition Thursday afternoon. "There are a few bugs to work out, like not having starting blocks, but it's great to be out here on a perfect day," swim official Bob O'Hara said. Scores were not kept for the competition, creating a friendly atmosphere in which swimmers from many of the teams involved met and greeted one another on the warm and sunny day.
