Red Knights Roll, Orioles Fall In Tuesday Night Hoops
Benilde-St. Margaret's basketball teams swept St. Francis, while the St. Louis Park girls were stung by Edina.

While the basketball teams continued their dominant run through North Suburban Conference play, the girls hoopsters ran into all sorts of trouble against a non-conference foe on Tuesday night as the regular season entered its final stretch.
Benilde-St. Margaret's Boys Basketball: Red Knights 78, St. Francis 48
The Benilde-St. Margaret's boys basketball team clinched at least a share of the North Suburban championship with a 78-48 home win against St. Francis.

Behind a game-high 18 points from Isaiah Zierden, the Red Knights improved to 12-1 in the conference — two games better than Irondale — with just one pre-playoff contest remaining.
Will Dunn and Kyle Washington scored 13 and 12 points, respectively, for BSM (19-4 overall), who look to win their 20th game at Robbinsdale Cooper at 7:15 p.m. Friday.

Benilde-St. Margaret's Girls Basketball: Red Knights 77, St. Francis 42
A 77-42 win at St. Francis clinched at least a share of the North Suburban championship for the Benilde-St. Margaret's girls basketball team.
Olivia Antilla scored a game-high 21 points, with Khadijah Shumpert chipping in 18 points and Josie Dillon 12 points, as the defending state Class 3A champions remained perfect in conference play.
However, the Red Knights (20-5 overall, 15-0 in conference) will have to defeat the team nipping at their heels — Robbinsdale Cooper — at home in the conference finale to claim the title all to themselves.
Cooper, 16-9 overall and 14-1 in the North Suburban, visits BSM at 7:15 p.m. Friday.
St. Louis Park Girls Basketball: Edina 64, Orioles 24
Edina proved to be a rude guest in defeating the St. Louis Park girls basketball team, 64-24, dropping the Orioles to 7-18 on the season.
St. Louis Park managed just nine points against the Hornets in the first half and just 15 more after the break en route to the 40-point loss. Mara Olson led the hosts with eight points.
The Orioles, 4-11 in North Suburban play, host conference opponent St. Francis in the regular-season finale at 7:15 p.m. Friday.
