Several Red Knights Teams Remain In Conference Races
Benilde-St. Margaret's baseball, girls lacrosse and boys tennis all claimed important mid-week wins.

Mid-week matchups got off without a hitch for and as a moderate schedule was met with median temperatures to make contests a pleasurable experience for participants and fans.
Benilde-St. Margaret's Girls Lacrosse: Red Knights 12, Totino-Grace 9
A 12-9 defeat of visiting North Suburban Conference (NSC) foe Totino-Grace on Thursday boosted the Benilde-St. Margaret's girls lacrosse team's record to 4-2 overall and kept the Red Knights in a tie atop the circuit standings.

As of the last update, Paige Lawlor leads BSM with 10 goals, with Maddy Moore scoring nine goals and Sara Taffe accounting for six scores.
The Red Knights are scheduled to play at Edina at 2 p.m. on Saturday.

Benilde-St. Margaret's Baseball: Red Knights 9, Chisago Lakes 3
After spotting host Chisago Lakes a 3-0 lead after two innings, the Benilde-St. Margaret's baseball team powered back to score in four of the next five frames to claim a 9-3 victory over its conference foe.
Gabe McDonald had three runs batted in and scored once for BSM, despite not having a hit. In fact, the Red Knights had only four hits in the game as they took advantage of six Tigers errors.
BSM starting pitcher Kenny Polarek earned the win with five innings of three-hit ball, giving up two earned runs and striking out four.
The Red Knights, 8-2 in NSC play, compete in the Apple Valley Tournament this weekend, beginning with a game against Brookings (S.D.) at 4:30 p.m. Friday at Legion Park in Apple Valley.
Benilde-St. Margaret's Softball: Red Knights Drop Two Straight
Back-to-back losses to St. Louis Park (1-0) and St. Francis (5-4) on Wednesday and Thursday, respectively, dropped the Benilde-St. Margaret's softball team to 5-4 on the spring.

The Benilde-St. Margaret's boys tennis team remained one-half match out of first place in the NSC with a 5-2 win over Totino-Grace on Wednesday and a 7-0 shutout of Robbinsdale Cooper on Thursday. Individual results were not available.
St. Louis Park Boys Golf: Bretl, Burnett Lead Orioles To Win At Minikahda
Peyton Bretl and Tom Burnett both carded scores of 38 to lead the St. Louis Park boys golf team to a 162-182 win over Blake at the Minikahda Country Club on Thursday.
St. Louis Park Baseball: Irondale 6, Orioles 1
The St. Louis Park baseball team fell into fifth place in the NSC after a 6-1 loss to visiting circuit foe Irondale at Dakota Park on Wednesday.
Individual statistics were not available. The Orioles dropped to 9-3 overall and 6-3 in the conference standings heading into a 4:15 p.m. game at Fridley on Friday.
