She's Sweet as a Pancake

This week we are featuring a precious little rabbit that will make you smile and melt your heart every morning!

Pancake is 3 pounds of love and is patiently awaiting a loving owner to take her home. She was among a dozen other beautiful rabbits found abandoned in an apartment, as the owner had to move out unexpectedly.

Aside from her luscious, soft coat, Pancake also has a fabulous name for a genuine foodie.

A staff member at the Animal Humane Society actually named seven of the abandoned rabbits after breakfast foods. The others are: Jelly, Strudel, Cheerio, Waffles, Pop Tart and French Toast. Six of the seven have found new families, now Pancake still needs to find hers.

What makes her so special is her curiosity and alertness around people. Like most rabbits, she is shy at first, but she quickly warms up to you once you spend a little time with her. She absolutely loves munching on hay and is clearly going to make a pet owner very happy.
