St. Louis Park Girls Take 5th in State Synchronized Swimming Meet

The event was at the University of Minnesota Aquatic Center.

The St. Louis Park girls synchronized swimming team tied for fifth place at the state meet on Thursday and Friday at the University of Minnesota Aquatic Center in Minneapolis.

The Orioles tied for fifth with Prior Lake with each team compiling 21 points. Wayzata won the overall team event with 169 points.

Annabelle Magnuson took third place in the short solo competition, while Rose Evensen and Hannah McDonell took fifth in the extended duet event.

Natalie Bergstrom, Hannah Mulhausen and Molly Sneden finished fourth in the extended trio event.

In the long team category, Carolyn Guddal, Janet Holmes, Magnuson, Claire Olson, Claire Steffenhagen and Ellie Stillman finished fifth overall. In the extended team event, Evensen, Jenna Frank, Katie Johns, Maria Knudsen, Hannah McDonell and Grace Steffenhagen took sixth in the extended team event.

Nicole Muralt took ninth in the long solo event, while Leah Segal and Katrina Albrecht took eighth and ninth, respectively, in the extended solo competition.

Janet Holmes and Lea Segal took ninth in the long duet event. Holmes, Johns and Knudsen took seventh in the long trio category.
