St. Louis Park High School Student Dies in Bike Crash
The crash took place Wednesday night near the intersection of Shady Oak Road and Excelsior Boulevard.

An 18-year-old boy on a bicycle died after a car hit him Wednesday night on Shady Oak Road, Minnetonka Police said.
The victim has been identified as Andrew Dudley, a senior at .

The crash happened at about 8:45 p.m. on the 4600 block of Shady Oak Road in Minnetonka, near the intersection with Excelsior Boulevard, as Dudley exited a parking lot into the southbound lanes of traffic. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
The twisted bicycle rested next to a white sedan just after the crash while residents prayed in small groups in the nearby parking lot.

A preliminary investigation indicates that alcohol doesn't appear to be a factor, according to police.
