State Power Tops Benilde-St. Margaret's

Visiting Totino-Grace blew out the Red Knights on Friday, 41-10.

The football team stayed with defending Class 4A state champion Totino-Grace until a few costly turnovers gave the visiting Eagles easy chances to score.

A fumbled ball and a botched kickoff return were both recovered by Totino-Grace deep in BSM's zone, and the Eagles capitalized on both turnovers.

The Red Knights offense was never able to sustain a long enough drive until the fourth quarter, when the game was already out of reach. And the efficient Totino-Grace offense consistently scored touchdowns—something they didn't do at all last week in a 28-0 loss to Minnetonka.
