Weather Continues To Hamper Local Teams
Waterlogged fields proved to be unplayable for several games, including Thursday's Red Knights versus Orioles baseball showdown.

Several mid-week games were lost to postponement yet again, including a baseball showdown between and that was scheduled for Thursday but moved to Friday because of poor field conditions. In all, only a small portion of the local sports schedule was played on Wednesday and Thursday.
Benilde-St. Margaret's Baseball: Red Knights 8, Spring Lake Park 6
An 8-6 home win over Spring Lake Park on Wednesday improved the Benilde-St. Margaret's baseball team to 6-2 on the season heading into its cross-town match-up with St. Louis Park—now slated to be played at Dakota Park at 4:15 p.m. Friday.

Against Spring Lake Park, the Red Knights took advantage of four Panthers errors to post a five-run fifth inning that proved to be the crucial frame of the contest.
Gabe MacDonald led BSM with two runs scored on a 1-for-3 day at the plate, while Patrick Daly, Joe Melles and Bobby Papetti each notched one run batted in.

St. Louis Park Girls Golf: Rempfer Leads Orioles To Victory
Samantha Rempfer earned co-medalist honors with a card of 54 as the St. Louis Park girls golf team topped Minneapolis Southwest, 228-241, in a non-conference dual meet at Minikahda Country Club on Wednesday.
Benilde-St. Margaret's Softball: Red Knights 14, North Branch 2
The Benilde-St. Margaret's softball team improved to 4-1 on the year with a 14-2 thumping of North Suburban Conference rival North Branch on the road Wednesday night.
