Get Out: St. Michael’s weekend entertainment guide to fairs, fundraising and fitness.

Welcome to Thursday, the one day St. Michael Patch loves to tell you what to do.

Get Out heads to the fair, a local decathalon (really?) and a fundraiser for our boys of spring and summer this week.

When: Friday, Saturday and Sunday

Where: Head to the Wright County Fairgrounds on County Road 6, just north of Highway 12 in Howard Lake.

Why Go: Animals, food, games, live music...you know the drill.

Price: $5 Adults, $3 Students (13-17), Children 12 and under are Free

 

When: Saturday, Aug. 6 7 a.m. to 12 a.m.

Where: 9100 Quaday Ave NE, Otsego

Why Go: Partake in the Canoe Battle, Ava Inspired 5k, festival fun or simply enjoy the 11 hours of free music, including country star Travis Tritt.

Price: Varies with the activities

 

When: Friday, Aug. 5 all day

Where: 

Why Go: Shuttle over to space town for a delicious meal to support the local ball players.

Price: 20 percent of all purchases will go towards the STMA baseball program

 

When: Saturday, Aug. 6 at 8 a.m. (on-site registration between 6:30 and 7:30 a.m.)

Where: Buffalo High School (877 Bison Avenue, Buffalo)

Why Go: All individuals 16+ are invited to participate in or cheer on others at the first annual Buffalo Lacrosse Duathlon consisting of a 5k, 15 mile bike and another 5k.

Price: Adult Racer $50

 

When: Friday, Aug. 5 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Where: Buffalo Public Library (18 Lake Boulevard NW)

Why Go: Kids are invited to try their hand at this week’s craft.

Price: Free
