Wright County Board Of Commissioners Extend Public Counter Closure Period Until April 18

The Wright County Board of Commissioners met in special session today (April 2) and accepted the minutes of the March 24 Committee of the Whole meeting. As part of those minutes, the board, which had closed all public facing counters until Saturday, April 4, approved extending the closure of public counters to Saturday, April 18.

In light of Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz signing an Executive Order asking Minnesota residents to stay at home through Friday, April 10, it was determined that extending Wright County’s public window closure through April 18 would be in keeping with the guidelines.

The board will revisit the matter when it is closer to April 18 to determine if the Government Center can be reopened to the public.

As with the previous order, the Wright County Sheriff’s Office and Court Administration remain open.
