Officers logged 283 traffic citations, multiple DWI arrests, trespassing incidents involving juveniles, and several fraud and theft cases, offering a clear snapshot of current safety issues in Wayzata and Long Lake.
   

• Wayzata Council Approves Eloise Patio Expansion (wayzata.com) — Wayzata diners will soon see a much larger outdoor patio at Eloise, after the City Council unanimously approved a sidewalk café expansion along Broadway Avenue for the rest of the 2026 season. The project uses city right-of-way in front of Chico’s, keeps required pedestrian clearance, and will serve as a test case for future downtown patio requests and parking impacts.
