Stop & Shop to Cure Diabetes

Please join us for the first “Stop & Shop to Cure Diabetes” vendor event on Saturday, August 18th from 10:00A-1:00P. We are teaming with the @Primrose School of Woodbury and its annual Awesome August Event (Open house and Bike Rodeo) for what promises to be a very fun event. This vendor event is being held to support the JDRF’s 14th annual gala which will be held in October.

In 2008 my 6 year old son, James was diagnosed with Type I Diabetes when he was only 28 months old. He has now lived with diabetes longer than he ever lived without it. And during the last 32 months he has endured more than 5,600 finger pricks and 4,600 insulin injections. Insulin is not a cure for diabetes, but it is indispensable in preserving the lives of Type I Diabetics. I can tell you first hand that the JDRF is doing amazing work to bring life saving and life enhancing medical developments from the research bench into the lives of people living with this chronic disease. They are working tirelessly to find the cure for Diabetes, and I believe that they will find it in my son’s lifetime. Your support of this event is deeply appreciated!

We will have 20+ vendors and local businesses and guests will have the opportunity to explore and shop from these businesses.. There will be hourly raffles (must be present to win!) and FREE children's entertainment from 12-1.

Join us and help us take one step closer to that cure!
