Teen Threatened To Shoot Up Park High School With AK-47: Cops
After an argument with friends, Tyler Giebner said he would get an AK-47 to use in a school shooting, according to police.

COTTAGE GROVE, MN — An 18-year-old from Cottage Grove has been charged with terroristic threats, Washington County Attorney Pete Orput announced Friday. Following an argument with friends, Tyler James Giebner said he would get an AK-47 and shoot people at Park High School, according to police.
Giebner admitted to making those threats Wednesday, according to the criminal complaint. The teen — who works for a fast food restaurant — also told police his friends are trying to sell him two firearms but he doesn't have the money to buy them yet, authorities said.
Giebner acknowledged having anger issues and described them like a shaken pop bottle. Giebner said the top is going to "pop" very soon and when it does, "it is not going to be pretty," the criminal complaint states.

"The welfare of our kids is of paramount importance," Orput said in a news release. "In the current climate of multiple school shootings, an overpowering law enforcement response is appropriate and necessary."
