Woodbury Sees Rash Of Mail Thefts: New Program Could Help

If you notice any suspicious activity around mailboxes in your neighborhood, you're encouraged to call 911 immediately.

WOODBURY, MN — Woodbury police say the city has had a rash of mail thefts during the last couple of weeks. If you notice any suspicious activity around mailboxes in your neighborhood, you're encouraged to call 911 immediately. Collect as much information about the individual and/or vehicle they are in (make, model, color, license plate) and share that with the dispatcher.

Police said something that may help residents keep track of their mail is a new program from the United States Postal Service. USPS can now send you pictures of your daily mail before it shows up in your mailbox. This service allows residents to keep track of the mail you should be receiving. You can sign up for this service online here.
