• Minnesota Man Arrested For Using Homemade ‘Spike Strip' To Keep Kids From Riding Bikes Across His Lawn (brobible.com) — Police recently charged a Wyoming resident after they allegedly installed a homemade spike-covered plastic sheet in their yard near Goodview Park to deter kids from biking across the lawn. Officers say the device, found where children often cut through to the park, could qualify as an illegal dangerous trap under Minnesota law and may bring fines or jail time if convicted.
