• Wastewater Enforcement: Mississippi Commission of Environmental Quality and Aberdeen Concentrated Animal Feeding Operation Enter Into Agreed Order (jdsupra.com) — An industrial-scale livestock operation in Aberdeen has entered an agreed order with Mississippi's environmental regulators over alleged wastewater permit violations at its Hi Lo Farm facility. The company reports it has stopped discharging process wastewater to state waters by switching to spray irrigation, but will still pay a $15,000 civil penalty and must maintain required records going forward.
