• Jackson Landfill reopens with stipulations some contractors find costly (wlbt.com) — Byram residents should know the Jackson Landfill has finally reopened but with new rules that are frustrating some local debris haulers, who must now hand-unload heavy trailers. Contractors say the change adds hours of work and at least $100 in extra costs per trip, while city officials have yet to explain the requirements or respond to questions.
