Her life blended professional service across several Mississippi towns with deep church involvement and international mission work. Family and friends will gather for a memorial and burial at Mount Moriah Church in Bogue Chitto on October 10.

• Bobby Jack Dempsey, Sr., 80, (marshallcountydaily.com) — An 80-year-old man who was born in Cleveland and later settled in Kentucky has passed away, leaving a wide circle of family and friends mourning his loss. His life included military service in Vietnam, a long union career, and deep involvement in church and Masonic organizations. Visitation and funeral services are set for October 1 in Benton, Kentucky.
