• Hinds County escapee suspected of killing pastor (wjtv.com) — A Simpson County pastor who served a D’Lo church was killed after stopping to help a man beside I-55 in Jackson, and authorities believe an escaped Hinds County detainee may be responsible. Investigators say the suspect stole the pastor’s red Dodge Ram and remains at large, and they’re urging residents to be alert and report any sightings.
