(natchezdemocrat.com) — Natchez high schoolers in the Miss-Lou Pre-Law Academy watched a live Mississippi Court of Appeals hearing at Alcorn State University’s Natchez campus, then quizzed judges about how appeals work. Chief Judge Donna Barnes, a Natchez native, called the visit a homecoming while judges shared career paths and the intense preparation behind each appellate case.
