• Ridgeland Students Launch ‘WORTH A LISTEN' Mental Health Initiative (darkhorsepressnow.com) — Ridgeland students on the Mayor’s Youth Council are launching a ‘WORTH A LISTEN’ mental health campaign to support teens in local schools and across the metro area. Working with area psychologists and City Hall, they’ll lead awareness efforts, share resources, and partner with mental health organizations. City leaders hope the Ridgeland-born program eventually grows into a statewide movement. 
• AG says use of force justified in four officer-involved shootings (wlbt.com) — State investigators have ruled that Ridgeland police were justified in a December 31, 2024 shooting at Renaissance Colony Park after officers confronted a teen in a stolen car. The suspect allegedly struck a detective with the vehicle before being shot and later crashing in Jackson. The ruling also covers three other officer-involved shootings elsewhere in Mississippi.
