• Tunica Co. sees rise in number of homicides (wreg.com) — Homicides in Tunica County have climbed from about one a year to an average of four, and 2026 may be even higher, prompting concern from residents and the sheriff. Families of victims and neighbors are organizing community events and calling for more youth opportunities, while Sheriff K.C. Hamp urges residents to report crime and use Crime Stoppers to help keep Tunica safer.
