Local, county, and state agencies, including Vicksburg Police and drone teams, coordinated to track the fugitive, recover a stolen handgun, and return him to Warren County Jail.

• Frank John Cassino Jr. 1947-2026 (vicksburgnews.com) — Family and friends in Vicksburg are preparing to honor the life of Frank John Cassino Jr., a civil engineer born here in 1947 who cherished racing, Mississippi State sports, and his grandchildren. Visitation and services are set for Friday, April 24, at Fisher-Riles Funeral Home on Indiana Avenue, with burial to follow at Cedar Hill Cemetery.
