With the event taking place on Earth Day, MERS/Goodwill and the St.
Louis Cardinals are helping solve the problem of used electronics disposal for
the third year in a row. The rapid advancement of modern technology is causing
many devices to become obsolete, and disposing of these unwanted electronics
can be expensive and harmful to the environment.
“We are pleased to partner with Goodwill to promote recycling while also helping those
in need,” said Bill DeWitt III, President of the Cardinals. “It takes a team
effort to preserve the environment and this e-cycling event is a great
opportunity for fans to do their part to preserve the environment, while
supporting Goodwill’s important employment and rehabilitation programs.”
